The largest golf practice ground in Hokkaido, Japan (as shown on the left), has open courses of more than 200 yards and more than 140 batting positions. The practice center has automated service equipment and a perfect night lighting system to provide customers with an all-around golf service.
Before the retrofit of the lighting system, the night site lighting of the center took 1000 watts of high-pressure mercury lamp as the main light source, and the operating time of the practice site was easily affected by weather factors.

Before Retrofit
The dispersion of mercury lights causes light pollution and seriously affects the facilities close to the pitch. Light pollution should be reduced by laying a large shading net.
The network is expensive and difficult, and does not completely solve the problem of light pollution.

After Retrofit
Through the precise light distribution design, the LED input lamps accurately control the light distribution to avoid light pollution to the surrounding facilities, and there is no need to use the light-shielding network.
In the drawing, the light is concentrated on the main site; the fence at the site edge is already in the dark, and basically, no escaping light can be seen.

Before The Retrofit
Mercury light can only light down from heights as far as possible to reduce light pollution, so it needs to build a tall base tower.
The base tower is not only expensive with service life limit, but also needs to put the lamps based on safety considerations, and is forced to terminate the night operation.

LED lights through a systematic light distribution design, a variety of light matching combination use, effectively control light pollution without requiring "commanding" irradiation.
After the retrofit, the lamps were installed at the top of the venue, which not only saved the cost of renewal and maintenance of the tower, but also got rid of the constraints of night operation by weather factors, and effectively extended the operating time.
