Conduct daily and nighttime inspections of LED road lights and keep inspection records:
Regular inspections: Conduct regular inspections of road lights at least once a week and keep records.
Special inspections: Conduct special inspections of road lights in the event of typhoons, heavy rain, holidays, abnormal lines, tripped circuits, and other situations, and keep records. Generally, safety hazards are to be dealt with within 24 hours and fault handling records are to be filled out in a timely manner. For special safety hazards, implement on-site protective measures, fill out handling records, report to leaders, propose solutions, and eliminate safety hazards as soon as possible. Keep inspection records.
Conduct regular inspections and cleaning of the LED road light central monitoring system equipment, road light distribution rooms (phases), tools, and environmental sanitation every week. Tools should be placed in a standardized and orderly manner and the environment should be clean and tidy. Regularly apply anti-rust paint to prevent rusting.

When stripping the sheath, insulation shielding layer, and semiconductor layer, careful operation should be conducted, thoroughly grinding and cleaning the insulation surface to prevent impurities from remaining on the insulation, and keeping the humidity of the installation environment below 70%.
A series of specific regulations must be established for cable installation. The armoring layer and copper shielding layer must be separately grounded, and the cross-sectional area must not be less than 25 square millimeters. A single-core cable must be grounded at one end of the power-receiving terminal, whereas a three-core cable must be grounded at both ends. The cable wires should be tinned to prevent the cables from being damaged by external forces. Protective tubes can be used to protect the stressed parts, and the intermediate joint can be externally fixed to protect it. During maintenance, ensure that the cable wires are not twisted or deformed by external forces. If it is necessary to twist them, measures should be taken to make the surface smooth. When a construction team is working near the cable, increase conspicuous signs, and if necessary, remind construction personnel.
Cutting joints: Before cutting joints, it is important to inspect whether there is water or moisture in the joints. If there is, a welding torch cannot be used to cut the joint due to the heating of the torch causing moisture to move towards the inside of the cable from both sides of the joint. It is better to cut open the sleeve. If there is no moisture or water, lead sleeves can be heated and opened using a welding torch to remove dirt, clean rust spots, and wipe away soldering slag, moving the material away from the cable connection if necessary for future use.
