HPWINNER Energy Storage Roadway Light, IoT Driver and DTU Obtain TÜV Rheinland CB Certification
HPWINNER’s Energy Storage Roadway Light, IoT Driver-Controller and DTU have obtained CB Certification from TÜV Rheinland. This achievement provides strong support for the products’ international market access and their application in global urban lighting projects.
International Certification Supporting Global Project Access
TÜV Rheinland is a globally recognized independent testing, inspection and certification organization, with strong credibility in electrical safety, product compliance and quality verification.
The CB Scheme, operated under the IECEE system, is an international mechanism for the mutual acceptance of test reports and certificates for electrical and electronic products. For manufacturers, it helps reduce repeated testing when applying for local certifications in different countries and regions, improving certification conversion efficiency.
For roadway lighting products, certification is not only about compliance. It is also closely related to overseas project qualification, tender evaluation and customer confidence. In municipal roads, main roads, industrial parks and transport hubs, lighting products must meet higher requirements for electrical safety, long-term operation and system reliability.
Three Certified Products Building a Strong Hardware Foundation
The certified Energy Storage Roadway Light, IoT Driver-Controller and DTU are key components of HPWINNER’s Trifusion Fully Integrated IoT Urban Lighting Safety Framework.
The Energy Storage Roadway Light is designed for emergency lighting and resilient urban operation. In the event of power outages, grid fluctuations or extreme weather, it helps maintain roadway lighting and improve the continuity of urban lighting services.
The IoT Driver-Controller enables luminaire control and real-time operating data collection. It can collect key parameters such as current, voltage, power, driver temperature, power factor and efficiency, providing a data foundation for remote monitoring, fault diagnosis and digital maintenance.
The DTU acts as the data transmission hub between field luminaires and the management platform. It supports stable uploading of luminaire status, line status, energy consumption data and fault information, enabling remote inspection, intelligent alerts and adaptive lighting control.
From Luminaire Reliability to System Reliability
In urban roadway lighting projects, customers are no longer focused only on luminous efficacy and product appearance. Long-term safety, system stability, maintenance efficiency and lifecycle cost are becoming equally important.
The CB Certification of these three core products demonstrates that HPWINNER is strengthening not only luminaire-level compliance, but also system-level capabilities across emergency power support, driver control and communication connectivity.
For real-world applications, this means the lighting system should not only illuminate reliably, but also sense operating conditions, transmit data stably, respond to faults quickly and support intelligent operation and maintenance.
Advancing Global Deployment with Compliance Capability
From modular roadway lighting to emergency energy storage luminaires and fully connected urban lighting systems, HPWINNER continues to develop solutions based on real operating needs in cities.
Moving forward, HPWINNER will continue to build safer, more efficient and smarter urban lighting solutions based on international standards.
