HPWINNER Launches AI Agent Mr. Victor at GILE, Opening a New Era of AI-Powered Urban Lighting Operations

At 11:08 a.m. on June 9, during the opening of GILE 2026 in Guangzhou, Hangzhou HPWINNER Opto Corporation, Ltd. held a new product launch event at Booth A02, Hall 3.1, Area A, officially introducing “Mr. Victor”, the first dedicated AI Agent for China’s urban lighting industry.

Mr. Dai Yukun, Chairman of the Urban Lighting Professional Committee of the China Municipal Engineering Association, and Mr. Gao Fei, Vice Chairman of the Committee, also attended the event. HPWINNER sincerely thanks them for their presence and support.

With the debut of Mr. Victor, HPWINNER has successfully completed its three-year, three-step strategic roadmap, achieving a leap from hardware terminal development to AI-powered software empowerment and building a complete closed-loop system integrating both hardware and software for urban lighting.

Mr. Victor Makes Its Major Debut, Redefining a New Model for Roadway Lighting O&M

In 2026, HPWINNER moved beyond the development approach of single hardware iteration and further deepened its innovation in digital and intelligent applications, officially launching Mr. Victor, its AI Agent for urban lighting.

Unlike previous iterations of physical lighting hardware products, Mr. Victor is a newly appointed professional digital employee in the urban lighting sector. It serves not only as a dedicated digital employee for customers, but also as a benchmark digital employee empowering the transformation of the entire industry.

Built on the HPAI lighting platform architecture, Mr. Victor connects the IoT cloud, 4G-DTU, web management portal, and mobile app, enabling unified scheduling, full-scope perception, intelligent decision-making, and efficient full-process O&M management for the entire LED Roadway Light 2.0 hardware series.

Through the collaborative operation model of “digital employee + hardware terminal”, the O&M value of the entire system is fully released. The roadway lighting fault detection rate is increased by 80%, on-site inspection costs are reduced by 60%, overall O&M efficiency is improved by 35%, and the comprehensive O&M investment across the full project lifecycle is reduced by 30%.

Based on HPWINNER’s Trifusion LED Roadway Light 2.0 hardware system, each roadway light can transmit more than 30 types of real-time operating data, covering key information such as luminaire working status, grid conditions, and energy storage battery health, laying a solid data foundation for resilient lighting.

Chairman Victor Chen’s Speech: Innovation Lays the Foundation for the AI Era

For a long time, hidden risks such as line loss, leakage, and grid abnormalities in roadway lighting systems have lacked efficient and reliable monitoring methods. Relying solely on manual inspection makes it difficult to achieve real-time prevention and control, which has become a major weakness in the safe operation of urban lighting.

Mr. Victor can analyze massive amounts of operating data 24/7. It conducts full-dimensional monitoring of roadway lighting lines, grid quality, photovoltaic modules, and energy storage batteries, accurately identifies risks such as abnormal losses, leakage, and line faults, and provides early warnings in advance.

It can also independently complete a series of tasks, including fault diagnosis, maintenance work order dispatching, and strategy optimization. This fundamentally addresses the monitoring and O&M challenges of resilient lighting and truly realizes fully digital management and control of roadway lighting grid safety.

At the same time, Mr. Victor can proactively identify equipment abnormalities, warn of risks in advance, automatically generate O&M work orders, and combine digital dashboards to enable refined full-process management. This completely changes the outdated model in which traditional lighting equipment passively executes commands and relies heavily on manual O&M.

Looking back on HPWINNER’s three-year innovation journey, the company achieved a product-level breakthrough in 2024 with its Emergency Energy Storage Roadway Light. In 2025, it created the new Trifusion LED Roadway Light 2.0 hardware system, completing its full-scenario lighting hardware layout. In 2026, the AI digital employee officially joined the system, successfully completing the three-step path of product innovation, hardware system construction, and artificial intelligence empowerment.

Industry leaders attending the event highly recognized the innovative model of “hardware terminals + AI digital employee”, noting that the solution precisely aligns with the development trends of resilient city construction and municipal energy-saving renovation.

Capability Showcase: Smart Control, Connectivity, Diagnosis, and Analysis

During a key part of the launch event, Li Zhiming, General Manager of HPWINNER’s Product R&D Center, took the stage and connected with Mr. Victor live on site, demonstrating its core capabilities in smart control, smart connectivity, smart diagnosis, and smart analysis.

Through the demonstration, Mr. Victor showed its application value in real urban lighting scenarios. It can continuously monitor luminaires, power grids, batteries, solar systems, and overall system operation, supporting abnormality detection, fault judgment, status analysis, and maintenance decision-making.

For customers, these capabilities respond to highly practical questions: how to detect abnormalities faster, how to reduce the burden of manual inspection, how to improve the reliability of solar roadway lights under complex weather conditions, how to make energy storage lighting systems more controllable, and how to make urban lighting systems more energy-efficient, stable, and easier to manage.

Opening a New Chapter in Intelligent Urban Lighting Operations

As urban lighting systems continue to evolve toward IoT, digitalization, and low-carbon development, customers are no longer focused only on the performance of individual luminaires. They are paying more attention to long-term system efficiency, maintenance costs, and the resilience of urban infrastructure.

The launch of Mr. Victor is HPWINNER’s response to this industry shift. It represents not only a new product, but also a new way of operating urban lighting systems: enabling systems to sense conditions, understand needs, judge risks, and coordinate operations.

As the first AI Agent dedicated to the urban lighting industry, Mr. Victor has officially joined the great cause of urban lighting. With its China debut at GILE, the era of AI-powered urban lighting operations has begun.
